PAU is an independent public policy research institute providing expertise and strategic perspectives on political, economic and security issues, analysing the actual and potential problems of society. The ongoing projects at PAU include ‘The analysis of political and military aspects of ethnic conflicts’, ‘Prospects for conflict resolution’, ‘Democratic development in Azerbaijan’, and ‘Enviromental issues during the transition’.
